Onboarding Product Specialist

Department: Client Services - Onboarding
Location: Phoenix, AZ

As an Onboarding Product Specialist, you will serve as the technical subject matter expert and primary point of contact during the setup and onboarding of new dealership clients. This role requires a blend of product knowledge, technical aptitude, and customer-facing communication skills. You will configure default payment and incentive parameters, manage and map inventory feeds for advanced pricing strategies, and troubleshoot data and system-related issues to ensure a smooth launch experience. Your work will directly support product adoption, customer satisfaction, and long-term retention.

This is a full-time, onsite, salaried position located in our Phoenix, AZ office. Candidates must reside within daily commuting distance to our Phoenix location.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Configure and present default payment structures, OEM incentives, and dealership-specific pricing strategies during the onboarding process.
  • Manage inventory feed integrations, ensuring accurate mapping of pricing, discounts, and vehicle-level data across platforms.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (product, development, support) to troubleshoot setup issues and escalate technical concerns as needed.
  • Lead onboarding sessions with dealerships, providing guidance on platform capabilities and best practices for performance optimization.
  • Act as a liaison between client needs and internal development priorities, contributing feedback to continuously improve onboarding workflows and product features.
  • Monitor data flow and system performance to identify and resolve discrepancies in pricing, inventory, or customer-facing displays.
  • Support product retention by ensuring a seamless onboarding experience that promotes long-term customer engagement.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of onboarding configurations, client-specific requirements, and recurring technical patterns.

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 2–3+ years' experience in Automotive Digital Advertising account management, required
  • Google Certifications (Ads, Analytics, Video, Mobile, etc.), highly preferred
  • Experience working with web-based product platforms, CMS tools, or dealer management systems (DMS), highly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience using Salesforce
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategy, including SEM, SEO, display advertising, Google Ads, and Bing
  • Strong understanding of inventory data feeds, automotive pricing structures, and incentive programs
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, especially related to feed logic, data mapping, and pricing discrepancies
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear, customer-friendly way
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple onboarding projects simultaneously
  • In-depth knowledge of dealership operations and workflows
  • Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels within a dealership
  • Strong customer service and relationship management capabilities
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset, able to work independently and within a team
  • High energy, resilient, adaptable, and motivated by solving problems and driving results
